Donic Bluestorm Z series (LATEST RELEASE By Donic)

Donic Bluestorm Series is the new generation rubbers to hit the market, made and tuned for the New 40+ Poly balls. The Donic BlueStorm Z2 rubber with its porous rubber is ideal for new plastic 40+ balls, as it creates the extra dwell time during contact and thus generates crisp topspins with high control.  The long thin pimple combined with this porous sponge makes Z2 an ideal rubber for those looking for high spin and speed rubber without much compromise to the control.  This is a medium hard rubber.

IndiaPlaysTT recommends Donic Bluestorm Z2 rubber for both Forehand and Backhand as well.

Please stay tuned while we review other rubers of the Z series as well.

New Released Rubber by DHS- GoldArc 8

Description per DHS website:
The Goldarc 8 has legendary elasticity and a high amount of grip. This rubber employs its sturdy pimple geometry to maximise its elasticity. The pimples used are very large to increase the power produced from the mid-distance. The rubber gets excellent feedback and a clear sound upon contact with the ball, providing the player with much confidence in his shots. The Goldarc 8 is suitable for both the forehand and backhand of a blade. The Goldarc 8 was worked on by the DHS development center, German rubber experts, and multiple-time world champions, wang Liqin, and Ma Long, to create the perfect highly elastic, non-tacky rubber. This rubber is the soft version

My Review:
Equipment tested:
Blade- Butterfly Primorac Carbon
FH rubber - DHS Gold Arc 8 (47.5)
BH rubber-  Rakza 7

As an advanced player, my first instinct was an excellent grippy rubber for offensive counter-attack and topspins.  The ball made a nice crisp topspin and the trajectory of the top-spin is low to medium. The top-spins generate lot of speed and spin especially when hit over a backspin return by the opponent.   Slightly low on control, although when you compare with MXP-evolution, or Rakza 9 it was on a higher side.   Although this is a DHS rubber, this rubber doesn't have tackiness unlike most traditional DHS rubbers. This rubber is made in Germany and is an excellent replacement of Tenergy 05. In my views I found it better than Tenergy 05 in terms of control, dynamics and the longevity of the rubber.
DHS has produced a Winner this time and is surely set to gain popularity in the Indian Market.
